Neodymium magnet system 35 x 22.5 mm black rubber-coated with two threaded studs, holds approx. 9,4 kg

This rectangular neodymium magnet system measuring 35 x 22,5 mm features two threaded studs that can be fed through a hole, for example, and then be fastened with a nut. The rubber coating provides protection for delicate surfaces, prevents scratches and increases the load capacity when subjected to shear forces. The rubber also protects the magnet from occasional moisture and splash water. Permanent outdoor use, however, may lead to the formation of rust. Our ferrite pot magnets, on the other hand, are rust-proof.

In contrast to round magnets with an external thread, this magnet can be positioned precisely. Under the rubber coating is a rectangular steel plate with a neodymium magnet that has a multipolar magnetisation. As a result, you can combine these magnet systems with each other. However, please be careful when doing so. Once two of these magnet systems form a full and flush connection, it will be very difficult to separate them again.

If you want to reposition the magnet system, please do not attempt to remove it by dragging it along the mounting surface. This will damage the rubber coating. The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the magnet system makes direct and complete flush contact. Magnet systems already start to lose part of their adhesive force at a small distance from the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in magnet systems than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets.
