Description
This neodymium magnet system has a metric internal thread and can be screwed together with objects having a suitable external thread. The white rubber coating protects delicate surfaces from scratches and, at the same time, increases the load capacity in shear direction.
The rubber protects the magnet from occasional moisture and splashes. Permanent outdoor use, however, may lead to the formation of rust. Our ferrite pot magnets, on the other hand, are rust-proof.
Compared to standard pot magnets without a rubber coating, this rubberised magnet system is thinner and more discreet. There is a steel plate under the white rubber coating with an embedded magnet that has a multipolar magnetisation. As a result, you will be able to combine these magnet systems with each other. But please be careful, because once two of these magnet systems are fully joined, it will be very difficult to separate them again.
Please note: This magnet system has a full-length internal thread, requiring extra care when threading screws, hooks and the like to prevent damage to the rubber coating.
The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the magnet system makes direct and complete flush contact. Magnet systems already start to lose part of their adhesive force at a small distance from the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in magnet systems than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets.
