Description

These neodymium magnet systems have a metric internal thread and can be screwed together with objects having a suitable external thread. The rubber coating protects delicate surfaces from scratches and at the same time increases the load capacity in shear direction. The rubber protects the magnet from occasional moisture and splashes. Permanent outdoor use, however, may lead to the formation of rust. Our ferrite pot magnets, on the other hand, are rust-proof.

Compared to standard pot magnets without a rubber coating, these rubberised magnet systems are thinner and more discreet. Under the rubber coating is a steel plate with a fitted magnet. Contrary to other magnet systems, you will not be able to combine type ITNG-16 magnet systems with each other.

Please note: This magnet system has a full-length internal thread, requiring extra care when threading screws, hooks and the like to prevent damage to the rubber coating.

The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and of sufficient thickness and when the magnet system makes direct and full flush contact. Magnet systems already start to lose part of their adhesive force at a small distance from the ferromagnetic surface. This characteristic is more pronounced in magnet systems than in other ferrite and neodymium magnets. The structure of magnet systems


In magnet systems, one or several magnets are mounted on a steel plate with alternating poles. This concentrates the adhesive force of the magnets on one side of the system which, in turn, has a positive effect on the adhesive force. The steel plate with the magnets is encased in rubber.
