How strong is an N38 neodymium magnet?

That depends entirely on the dimensions of the magnet. We consider an N42 magnetisation as standard magnetisation. The magnetisation of N38 magnets is slightly weaker than that of our standard neodymium magnets. N38 magnets are perfect if the desired magnet should primarily meet aesthetic requirements, with the adhesive force playing a secondary role.
